Single coaching session

A single session to unblock a problem, clarify your situation and get you moving forward!

Are you facing a problem that you can't solve? Is there a question spinning in your head that you don't know how to answer? Are you faced with a dilemma? You're not sure what to do! You've considered different solutions, without any real conviction. You can't make a decision.

It's draining all your energy! It's stopping you and preventing you from moving forward.

Maybe you don't want to talk about it to the people around you for fear of worrying them. Or maybe you've discussed it with those close to you, but they don't understand what's at stake in your life as an expatriate, humanitarian or accompanying spouse.

You realize that what you need is a neutral and outside ear. A trained person who knows what's at stake in your life as a humanitarian, expatriate or accompanying spouse.

This is precisely the support I'm offering you with this single IMPULSE coaching session!

A session to clarify your situation and help you take action, taking into account your specific challenges as an expatriate, humanitarian or accompanying spouse.

This IMPULSE coaching session enables you to:

  • Identify a specific problem and understand how it’s preventing you from moving forward.
  • Share your thoughts and emotions about the issue in a neutral, confidential, caring and non-judgmental environment.
  • Think about it differently by asking yourself the right questions, looking at it from different angles, taking a step back and, above all, getting some perspective!
  • Clarify your needs, become aware of what's blocking you and how to bounce back.
  • Move forward by identifying concrete actions that can help you make an informed decision, unblock your situation and take action.

This IMPULSE session invites you to press the pause button and get the momentum you need to get moving ahead again!

This single coaching session will not enable you to understand and resolve everything.

What it will do, however, is help you to clarify a very specific problem and identify the actions you need to prioritize to unblock the situation.

It will get you out of the fog, identify what you really need now and energize you to move forward!

WHY TREAT MYSELF WITH THIS COACHING SESSION?

As a humanitarian, expatriate or accompanying spouse, you often find yourself alone and isolated when faced with your problems.

There may be a whole host of reasons for this:

  • Your family and friends back home don't really understand what's at stake in your life as an expatriate, humanitarian or accompanying spouse.

  • In your current host country, you feel alone in dealing with these issues. You haven't been able to develop a solid social network, or your friends are also your colleagues.

  • Your resource persons are not always available or are currently in another phase of their lives.

  • You don't want to worry your loved ones with questions that could have a direct or indirect impact on them. You don't want to raise false hopes, expectations or concerns before you've gained some insight or decided.

  • Those close to you will give you friendly advice, but you can feel that their advice is sometimes colored by their own filters, those linked to their desires, expectations, needs and fears about your relationship or your situation.

If you're here today, it's surely not by chance! You're feeling the need for a helping hand, and that's no small thing! So don't hesitate to gift yourself with this coaching session!

Nancy Bonamy, life and career coach for humanitarians, expatriates and accompanying spouses.

I support humanitarians, expatriates and accompanying partners in their life and career transitions and in meeting their specific challenges.

I draw on over 30 years' experience as an expatriate, 10 years in the humanitarian sector, 11 years as an accompanying spouse, including 20 years as a salaried employee and 10 years as an entrepreneur abroad.

I am certified in professional and personal coaching, positive psychology, resilience, emotional and social intelligence. To date, I have over 10 years' experience in coaching humanitarian aid workers, expatriates and accompanying spouses.

I have developed a method that I use in all my programmes. It's designed to help you think things through and find the solutions that are most suited to you.

Rather than offering advice (which may not suit you), I help you to ask yourself the right questions to find the real answers within yourself, the ones that really fit you!

Nancy Bonamy coach de transition professionnelle et personnelle pour les humanitaires, expatriées et conjointes accompagnantes qui souhaitent réussir leurs transitions de vie et de carrière et travailler sur leur développement professionnel et personnel.

THE COACHING SESSION IMPULSE

Practical details for this coaching session

The IMPULSE coaching session is done remotely via a zoom link that I provide when you book your appointment (nothing to download).

Its duration depends on your needs, to be defined together: 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes.

To discuss your needs and practical arrangements, I offer you a non-binding preliminary discussion.

You can book an appointment directly with me by clicking on the orange button below.

How do I choose the subject for my IMPULSE session?

Any subject can be addressed. The important thing for this session is to choose a single, very concrete issue.

For the rest, come as you are. From there, I'll help you to clarify your situation using a questioning technique that I've been trained for.

The magic will also happen thanks to a neutral and confidential environment, where you can be completely honest with yourself, without fear of being misunderstood or of hurting.

If you're hesitating between several issues, don't worry, I can help you choose during our preliminary discussion.

That's a very good question, and I'd like to say yes! You can have an IMPULSE coaching session with me, even if you're not a humanitarian, expatriate or accompanying spouse.

I've been trained in coaching techniques and I've already coached people who don't fit into any of these three profiles. So, if you think I'm the right person for you, don't hesitate to make an appointment.

The terms and conditions are the same, you just need to tell me your situation and status when taking an appointment with me.

Nancy Bonamy accompanies humanitarians, expatriates and accompanying spouses who wish to create positive changes in their professional and personal lives.
