You're feeling tired and under stress...
- You lack energy and zest.
- You're on all fronts, dealing with other people's emergencies to the detriment of what's important to you.
- You feel like a slow cooker that can't let off steam!
- Your head is full of injunctions: ‘I should...’, ‘I’ve got to...’, ‘Hurry up!’, ‘Be nice!’, ‘Make sure!’, ‘Don't complain’!
- You feel you always must do more and better, with no room for error.
- You’ve lost your optimism, your motivation and feel a general sense of frustration.
- Your day-to-day life is no longer fun or joyful.
You realize there are signs…
- It's harder to fall asleep and you wake up tired.
- You can't switch off or recover properly, even with time off.
- You feel less efficient, productive and focused.
- You're more emotional than usual or often irritated, frustrated or angry.
- You find yourself no longer listening, patient or empathetic.
- You start to lose confidence in yourself and your skills.
- You tend to isolate yourself and ruminate a lot.
- You question the meaning of your work and lifestyle.
- Sometimes you can even be a bit cynical!
You carry on regardless, because you say to yourself:
- It's just a slump, a bit of stress, nothing serious, I'm managing!
- Anyway, I have no choice, I can't stop, too many people and things depend on me.
- Stress is part of my life and that's just the way it is!
- I just must get through the next few weeks and then I'll be okay.
- I've been through worse, I'll be fine, I must be strong.
But deep down you know... you can't go on like this!
Your batteries are empty, and this lack of energy impacts your life and work. You want to get out of this vicious cycle! You'd like to understand what's happening to you, how to better take care for yourself and get your energy back!
That's why you're here today!
The good news is that you've come to the right place at the right time... and I'll tell why!
There are 2 essential keys to taking care of yourself and your energy!
Taming your inner Off-Road Pilot!
Your inner Off-Road Pilot gives high value to work and/or parenting. He's committed, willing, invested, responsible and loyal! He's competent, efficient, adaptable and proactive. He's resilient and doesn't give up. He wants to do well and please. He's empathetic and respects others.
This part of you is so extraordinary that those around you and/or your employer rely on you enormously. To the point of asking a lot of you all the time! And it's precisely this part of you that makes you forget yourself along the way!
The key here is to tame this off-road driver within you, so that you can concretely identify how to take care of yourself!
Understanding how your energy battery works!
Your energy level impacts every area of your life! Without energy, you can't hope to be efficient, available, think clearly, take a step back, make the right decisions, unleash your creativity, look after others, boost your self-confidence and make successful life and career transitions.
And yet, there's a good chance you don't really know how to check your battery gauge, detect and plug energy leaks, limit internal and external pressures and recharge your battery efficiently.
The key here is to value every little action towards your goal: that’s what keeps you enjoying the process and staying in the action. comprendre comment fonctionne ta batterie énergétique pour l’alimenter efficacement et durablement.
These two keys are an integral part of my ‘Bye Burnout’ program.
A totally personalized program!

Today I'm much more centered and clearer about who I am and what I want. I also have more energy and more confidence in my ability to move forward without burning out. This clarity and this channeled energy have enabled certain doors to open on a professional level.

When I started this coaching, I was in burnout and had just been made redundant from the ICRC, reflecting on what to do next professionally, in balance with my personal life.
Today I'm much more centered and clearer about who I am and what I want. I also have more energy and more confidence in my ability to move forward without burning out. This claritý and this channeled energy have enabled certain doors to open at a professional level.
The 3 strong points of your program:
- Your sympathetic listening and your perspective (which pushes thinking forward).
- The mix of online modules and exercises and the bilateral sessions.
- The fact that you know the humanitarian world so well and, at the same time, that you've been through other ‘worlds’ (I think that makes you very open-minded).
I'm really pleased with the support you've given me and the progress you've made in just a few months. To those who are hesitating, I'd say that they won't regret it, because your guidance is personalized, with finesse and kindness.
This support helped me to get through a phase of intense burn-out, to validate what I wanted to do and to set clear goals for healthier and more motivating working conditions.

Prior to coaching with Nancy, I was experiencing a burnout that left me demoralized, confused and unable to move forward and make decisions. I was trying to clarify which path to follow for this important professional transition. I needed to set achievable goals, carve out time and space for myself, and find my way to a healthier, more balanced life. Thanks to this program, I was able to crystallize and validate what I wanted to do and set clear lines and goals for healthier and more motivating working conditions.
I was also able to reaffirm the kind of life I want for myself, the kind of person I want to be, and determine how to get there. Nancy’s structured, flexible, and caring guidance helped me build my self-confidence, see the light at the end of the tunnel and inject much-needed positivity into my thinking.
Nancy has a very empathetic, non-judgmental, and gentle approach. She is able to be both very honest and very kind in her comments. Her strengths-based approach is a very powerful tool that helped me find a solid center of gravity to focus on each action.
Nancy was the best thing that could have happened to me during this very difficult period in my life, and I owe her a debt of gratitude for helping me to get through an intense burnout phase, to be able to use my time productively and to identify ways of overcoming obstacles. My partner has also remarked that I’m a different person now.
I was feeling very low energy and very stuck on what to do moving forward in terms of my humanitarian work and lifestyle. It helped me gain perspective and feel more positive. Now, I feel much more conscious of my options.

I was feeling very low energy and very stuck on what to do moving forward in terms of my humanitarian work and lifestyle. I was looking for some support that could help me organize my thoughts and move forward, with someone who has a good understanding of what it means to be a field humanitarian worker and who has experience in coaching people in my situation.
The first thing that really helped my emotional state was to think of things I’m grateful for. I’m usually not a negative or pessimistic person, but I felt so low energy and so stuck that I had lost a bit track of the positive things in life. It helped me to gain perspective and feel more positive.
The reflection about my strengths and values (also on how they could apply to a next work-phase) was very helpful. It was also useful to be asked concrete questions to help me organize my thoughts and to discuss them.
Now, I feel less stuck and much more conscious of my options.
I think the combination of videos, written documents and exercises is quite interesting in preparation for each session. And I felt Nancy had a supportive attitude and gave relevant feedback.
I’m thankful for this coaching experience. If someone is feeling stuck, like I was, and is looking for support, the coaching with Nancy is quite helpful and interesting with the questions it poses and the aspects it helps us to investigate and better understand. I recommend it!

Questions & Answers on Bye Burnout
If you're off work, you will need to be under the care of your doctor and/or a psychologist. Having said that, my program is complementary to this medical support. My program will help you take action. It also helps you to maximize and sustain the benefits of your therapy. I regularly have clients who follow these two approaches simultaneously. At our introductory session, we'll clarify what your current energy level is and from there assess when the best time is to start working together. If you would like to discuss this, please contact me for an introductory session. .
Yes, this program is highly recommended after a burnout. It enables you to prevent a relapse by helping you to clarify the way you function and by helping you to put in place concrete actions to sustainably nourish your energy.
In addition, as mentioned above, following a burnout, it's common to ask yourself some fundamental questions about your post-burnout career path. This is an option that I offer and which you can include, if you wish, in your support.

Sure, this program will help you to clarify what you need to regain and maintain your energy. It will help you improve your well-being at work and at home, so you can prevent exhaustion, whether is it is a professional or parental burnout. You'll also learn how to look after your mental and emotional health and how to achieve a healthy balance in your life.
Of course, it clearly considers the challenges faced by humanitarian workers.
I'm aware of your realities, having worked in the humanitarian sector for 13 years: 3 years in international solidarity, 8 years in emergency contexts with the International Committee of the Red Cross and 2 years at headquarters in Geneva.
I know from experience that it is particularly difficult to take care of oneself and one's energy as a humanitarian. It’s therefore essential to consider the constraints and realities of humanitarian workers.
That's why I wanted to create a program that would address the specific challenges faced by aid workers, both in the field and at headquarters, who want to avoid burnout and take care of their well-being.
Yes, it certainly takes into account the particular challenges faced by expatriate spouses, who are often isolated and misunderstood. I've been an accompanying spouse myself for 11 years, and I know how taboo the subject of parental well-being and burnout is while abroad.
As an accompanying spouse, you take on the role of family pillar on which the well-being of the whole family depends. As such, you wear many hats. And as a result, you face an enormous mental burden, often exacerbated by recurring changes and periods of uncertainty. What's more, despite what those around you often think, you have few opportunities to really take care of yourself and your energy.
This is what prompted me to create a program that addresses the specific issues faced by accompanying expatriate spouses who want to regain their energy and take care not only of their family's well-being, but also of themselves!
Absolutely! When you live and work abroad, you deal with a lot of stress linked to your international mobility. What's more, your lifestyle has a much wider impact than just work. As an expatriate, you're often faced with a lot of changes and uncertainties in all areas of your life. You constantly must adapt in your work and daily life. When you're abroad, it's also common to find yourself isolated in dealing with your own difficulties.
I know what it's like to be an expat, having been a multi-expat myself for 30 years! I know how common it is to burn out and how stressful and complicated it can be, despite the overly angelic external perception of our expat life!
That's why I wanted to create this program to help expats regain the energy they need and avoid exhaustion in the face of the many challenges of their lives and careers abroad, and even when they return back home!
As long as you are fully committed to this program, you will inevitably gain an excellent understanding of how to take good care of yourself and your energy.
At the start of the program, we'll work together to define the goals you want to achieve by the end of the program. This is what will enable us to ensure that you achieve them. During the introductory session, my clients often mention the fact that they've already tried everything and never succeeded... and yet everyone, without exception, has achieved their coaching goals!
This program complements the work done with a psychologist. ‘Bye Burnout’ helps you to take action. The program also helps you to maximize and sustain the benefits of your therapy. I regularly have clients who follow these two approaches simultaneously.
If you need any clarification, contact me so we can discuss it! I get in touch with Nancy.
Depending on the package you choose, this program includes 8 or 10 individual coaching sessions with 8 or 10 exercise modules. The length of the program depends on the regularity of our sessions. I generally suggest that we meet once a fortnight, which means that the program lasts between 4 to 5 months, depending on the package. It's a short program (although at this stage you might think otherwise). The good news is that you'll feel a positive impact on your energy levels right from the start. In the introductory session, we can discuss the frequency and duration most appropriate to your situation and schedule.
Yes, you can follow this program whatever your personal or professional situation or status.
I've already worked with people who are not expatriates, accompanying spouses or humanitarian workers.
The support and tools I offer in this program can be adapted to any situation. This ‘By Burnout’ program will suit you whether you're looking to prevent burnout, take better care of yourself, rebuild after burnout or clarify your career path and return to work after burnout.
